In the Euro 2020, Poland and Spain played a 1-1 draw on Saturday night. Notably weaker performance of Spain has left the team in a critical condition in this tournament.
Spain striker Alvaro Morata broke the deadlock in the 25th minute, by pushing the Gerard Moreno's driven ball into the box. The goal was awarded following a VAR review, when a linesman's flag for offside delayed the celebrations.
In the 54th minute, Poland's Lewandowski equalised with a towering header from Kamil Jozwiak's cross. Four minutes later, Spain got an opportunity with Moreno penalty, but he was unable to restore Spain's advantage, striking on the post. Morata also kicked the rebounded ball wide with the goal gaping.
The 1-1 draw of Spain and Poland has ensured all four Euro 2020 Group 'E' teams' possibilities still to be qualified as they head into Wednesday's final round of matches.
On the scoreboard, Sweden is on the top of Group 'E' with 4 points, whereas, Slovakia (3) second, Spain (2) and the Poles on the bottom with one point.
When Sweden and Poland will fight in their final game on Wednesday, Spain will play with Slovakia.
