In the last 24 hours, 5 thousand 706 new positive cases of corona virus infection were detected. The result had come out of 14 thousand 403 tested swab samples .

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal's tally of Covid-19 positive cases has reached 328 thousands 893 as of the data of Saturday afternoon.

Further, the ministry informs that the number of active cases has reached 43 thousand 213.

In the time period, 19 deaths were reported. Along with that, the death toll due to the corona virus infection has reached 3 thousand 298.

Kathmandu valley saw 2 thousand 495 cases in the period and among them, 1 thousand 932 in Kathmandu, 355 in Lalitpur and 208 in the Bhaktapur district were tested positive.
