Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) won the match against Punjab Kings by 5 wickets on Monday. In the ongoing  Indian Premier League (IPL), KKR has made 4 points by winning 2 matches out of 6.

In the match, KKR had won the toss and had decided to bowl first. Punjab had collected 123 runs in 20 overs losing 9 wickets. With the help of Eoin Morgan's not out 47 runs in 40 balls, KKR met the target just in 16.4 overs by 5 wickets.

For the KKR's victory, Rahul Tripathi had contributed 41 runs in 32 balls and, Dinesh Karthik was not out with 12 runs in 6 balls.

Punjab's Mohammed Shami, Deepak Hooda and Moises Henriques, each had taken a wicket.

Punjab's batsmen Mayank Agrawal had scored 31(34). Similarly, Chris Jordan and Nikolas Pooran had made 30(18) and 19(19) respectively.

KKR's bowler Prasidh Krishna had taken 3 wickets, whereas, Sunil Narine and Pat Cummins had taken 2/2 wickets.

KKR's Eoin Morgan 47*(40) became the player of the match.
