In the last 24 hours, 3 thousands 556 new Covid-19 positive cases were detected in Nepal. According to the Ministry of Health and Population's latest update, 12 people were killed by the virus within the time.

Adding to this, the total Covid-19 infected cases reached 303 thousands 561, whereas, the death toll mounted to 3 thousands 176. On the other hand, 277 thousands 951 have been recovered.

Among the positive cases added on Monday, 1 thousand 567 in Kathmandu, 223 in Lalitpur and 122 in Bhaktapur were found positive. Similarly, 134 in Morang, 307 in Banke, 98 in Parsa, 95 in Rupandehi and 96 cases in Chitawan district were detected in the same time duration. Likewise, Jhapa, Sunsari, Kanchanpur, Palpa, Baitadi and Makawanpur saw 62, 43, 42, 41,34, 32 and 32 new positive cases respectively in the time mentioned.

Along with the increase in Covid-19 pandemic, sources say that the meeting of the Chief District Administration Officers (CDOs) of the three districts in the Kathmandu valley have decided on Monday to issue an Order of Injunction to be implemented in those districts from 16 Baisakh, 2078.
