Nepal has won the triangular T-20 series played in Nepal among Nepal, Netherlands and Malaysia.
Nepal won the series by defeating Netherlands with 142 runs in the final.
After losing the toss, Nepal was invited to bat first. Nepal had given the target of 239 runs playing all 20 overs and losing only its 3 wickets.
But Netherlands could not meet the target as it was all out when it had made only 96 runs in 15.2 overs.
Nepalese batsman Kushal Bhurtel had scored 77 runs in 53 balls with the help of 3 sixes and 8 fours, whereas, Kushal Malla scored half century in 24 balls. Malla had hit 5 sixes and 2 fours. He had remained not out.
Similarly, Nepalese bowler Karan KC took 3 wickets, whereas, Sandip Lamichhane and Kamal Singh Airee each took 2/2 wickets. In the match, Abhinash Bohora took a wicket.
For Nepal, vice-captain Dipendra Singh Airee, captain Gyanendra Malla and Arif Sheikh had contributed 48, 33 and 16 runs respectively.
In the final match of the series, Nepal had made the highest score in its history. Nepal has broken its record of the highest score of 238 runs made earlier against Bhutan.
