Russian president Vladimir Putin has warned the western nations not to take the Russian magnanimity as their weakness.
President Putin's latest expression with warning has come following the United States of America's sanctions imposed on several Russian officials and agencies.
While addressing in the name of nation, Mr. Putin said the western countries frequently targeted Russia despite the Russian will to build harmonious relationship with all the nations in the world.
He further stressed that they would keep on trying to make all relations normal. However, he warned that Russian reaction would also be as harsh as theirs if they took the Russian leniency as their weakness.
Stating that the use of unlawful sanctions was headed to a perilous direction, president Putin also accused the western nations of plotting to overthrow the Alexander Lukashenko's government in Belarus. Putin had stood on the side of Lukashenko, the president of Belarus, when people of Belarus had recently protested against the Lukashenko government.
Officials of Belarus say Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, the exiled opposition leader of Belarus, had woven conspirasies to kill the president Lukashenko in the interest and incitement of the US. Tsikhanouskaya is a 38 years old independent politician of Belarus. Western nations including the US support her, whereas, Russia favours Lukashenko.
