White police officer, who was accused of shooting to death to a dark-skinned motor driver at Mennesota, America, has been arrested. Prosecutors say the officer will be presented to the court with charges of a second degree manslaughter crime.
Police says the arrested police officer, Kim Potter, will be kept in the police custody. Accused Potter said the 20-year old youth, Daunte Wright, was gunshot by mistake during a traffic stop . She added that the gun triggered by mistake when she wanted just to make the man unconscious.
The family lawyer of the killed youth insisted that the murder was 'an intentional, deliberate and unlawful killing' committed by the abuse of authoriry.
The murder had caused three nights' confrontation between the police and the protesters. The area was already in tension because of a scheduled court-hearing on a case against a former officer alleged for the murder of a dark-skinned American, George Floyd, last year.
Provided that Potter is found guilty, she will have maximum 10 years imprisonment and fine up to 20 thousand dollars.
